ACTION PLAN ANALYSIS!

In my Whangara class we have been learning about climate change and how we can reduce using so much power and alternatives to use. Here's a little slide about my action and plan and how I am trying to make a change.

This term every Friday we have impact projects. For my impact project I have been doing cooking using seasonal fruits and vege and using them in a dish. Here is a slide of what I have been making.

Why we should balance the components and ecosystem

For a task in our whangara group we decide to write a persuading paragraph here is mine.

Why is it important to balance the components and    ecosystem?

It is important to balance the components and ecosystem because when humans take trees all the other animals or plants that used the trees as food or shelter have no longer anything like trees. It’s like a food web like the plant is the producer which consumers like omnivores and herbivores eat from. Then the secondary consumers like Carnivores or Omnivores are predators to the consumers they rely on those consumers to eat. Then it goes so on. But in the end all of these animals are relying on the producer which is the plant. So when humans take away the producer it causes all these other animals to die too. That is why it is important to balance out the components and eco sytem.

Food Webs

Today in my Whangara class we learnt about food webs. Food webs are  a producer which is like plant. Which shows how many animals need it to survive. Here is the one I made today.
Green -Producer (Plant)
Yellow- Herbivore ( Animal that doesn't eat meat)
Red- Carnivore( Animal that only eats meat)
Blue- Omnivore (Animal that eats producers and Meat)

Hello, I'm China I am a year seven at Campion College. I enjoy doing lots of sports especially horse riding and snowboarding. My favourite subject at school is probably cooking and Science.

Term 4 has came to a end

Culture city

We have been learning about lots of cultures this term. Our theme this term has been culture city. We have been learning about the arts ( dance, drama, Music and Visual arts). We have also been making many paper dolls depending on which culture we picked.Here are some pictures of what I did.

Kapa Haka

We were lucky enough this term to participate in the Turanganui Kapa Haka Festival. Click on the link for information about it.

Craft Fair

We had the school gala .Moana learning hub sold cakes and baking. It was a very fun gala overall we 

managed to raise 15,000 dollars for the school.

Intermediate day

 Last Tuesday we got to go visit our intermediate.We had a fun day getting a tour around the school with our friends and getting to do some experimenting with science and doing some art.

 Road Patrols day Reward 

Last Thursday all the road partrolers got to go and spend the day at the Olympic pools. We all got a reward for doing our job. We got to have endless turns on the hydro slide and diving pools and even free pizza. Over all it has been an amazing term and year unfortunately it has came

Overall it has been an amazing term unfortunately it has came to an end. I've gotten to do so much cool opportunities at W.B.S ( Wainui Beach School) this term.
